right now i have 4 neon tetras in a 5 gallon tank with a snail. would it be okay if i put a platy in?

I honestly wouldn't add anything else to the tank. As cute and small as the 5 gallons are, they can be very unstable and any "small" swing in water parameters can become disastrous....so no i wouldn't add anything to the tank...sorry, heidi
