About a month ago I purchased 3 Weather loaches (which I think are so cute ), I feed my tank flake in the morning (8:00am), when I get home from work (6:30-7:30pm) I feed them brine shrimp and then when I turn the lights off (8:00-8:30pm) I feed them shrimp pellets. Now my question is how do I know if my weather loaches are getting enough to eat at night? Every now and then 1 or 2 of the 3 loaches come out when I feed them the brine shrimp, and the other fish go after the shrimp pellets at night. Thanks for any help

After these guys settle into the tank they'll force their way to the top to take food as well as cleaning up anything that falls to the bottom. I don't really worry about mine. They'll shove the tetras aside to grab food especially frozen brine shrimp or bloodworms. They also like a few vegetables or fruits such as cucumber and bits of mango. Mostly softer or watery things along with any fish foods they can get.

To start off with I personally think you are over feeding. I would feed only once a day and a small mix of all those foods scattered over the tank.

Have a look in [link=My Profile]http://

Try to feed them a mixture of Flakes & Brine Shrimp in the morning & then feed the Pellets as soon as you switch off the lights.
