| figure 8 puffer | |
dogmai333![]() Hobbyist Posts: 90 Kudos: 79 Votes: 19 Registered: 03-Feb-2005 ![]() | i was at the fish store today and i saw a figure eight puffer and i really like the way it looks. i checked out the profile on this site and it says it can be aggresive. i was just wondering if one would get along with my 2 dinosaur eels (both about 4.5 inches long, and they are semi aggressive) in a 55 gallon tank, or if they get along with anything. im just wondering so i don't go get one and it not work out. any info would be great. MONKEYS ARE COOL, BUT SEA-MONKEYS ARE BETTER. |

Figure 8 puffers are brackish water fish and really aren't best kept in fresh water only tanks. I have kept Figure 8 puffers several years ago and found them to be both entertaining and were some of my favorite fish, but they were best kept by themselves as they tended to be a bit of fin nippers to anything else with them.
