One of my favorites is [link=Aquarium Fishes of the World]http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?userid=YG24yECCzL&isbn=0793804930&itm=1" style="COLOR: #FF1493[/link] by: Dr. Herbert R. Axelrod, Dr. Warren E. Burgess, Neal ek, Glen S. Axelrod, and David E. Boruchowitz. It's a great little book, and covers lots of stuffes (Catalog of Fishes; Aquarium Plants Section; Aquarium Management Section) and for each fish there is a color picture.

Also [link=here is a link]http://www.fishprofiles.com/files/forums/General%20Freshwater/56020.html" style="COLOR: #FF1493[/link] to a thread I created sometime back on the same question, it has some other good books listed there as well

I actually found quite a few of the books I have on ebay, as well as used book stores...might want to check there first, sometimes you can get the book in pretty good if not new shape, for a lot less the price

Enjoy, Heidi

Pick up one of Amanos "Nature Aquarium" books. They contain tons of pics and info about S.A. biotopes.
