I can say that because my Grandfather has one he uses in his thank. Face up make your stand and realize your living in the golden Years |

The waste will be sucked & the gravel will be left in the tank. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

You need the height in the tank to get the siphon action working. you CAN however get a powerhead and use that to power the siphon In the bucket, cover the powerhead, and turn it on after attaching it to the hose ![]() Or get a battery powered siphon ![]() Last edited by Callatya at 20-Oct-2005 10:23 |

You take the hose from your airpump and attach it to the vac, press the little scoop into the gravel and the debris is sucked up into a cloth bag. I have not used this device, but I am tempted to buy one and see how it works(out of curiosity more than anything else). If anybody has experience with these, pleae let me know. |
