i have 2 electric yellows and bout 12 guppies in a 15 gal tank, there is all sorts of plants and rocks and a piece of driftwood in the tank. and my guppies just had fry, there were about 12 - 15 fry and they were all alive for about 6 - 8 days and now there are only 2 left (9th day) and im wondering if the eletric yellows could have eaten them? the eletric yellows are only about 5 cm big... thanks

The electric yellows definitely ate them. If you want to successfully raise the guppy fry, you will have to remove the cichlids from the tank.

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

The electric yellows probably are the culprit...but not the only culprit. The guppies are also notorius for eating their fry, all their fry. Especially in such a small tank.

You really need to find a new home for those electric yellows as cichlids and guppies are just not compatible. Also a 15 gallon tank is really to small for those guys to be in they really need to be in a larger tank.

Both the Elec.Yellow & the Guppies, might have eaten the fry, but i also suggest not to mix them together. It's better to find another tank for the Elec.Yellow.
