After a weekend away I came home to find half a dozen eggs attached to the front glass in my Endler's tank. The possible parents are either panda cories, pygmy cories, or otos.

The Endler's check out the eggs but haven't bothered them so far. I have a very long piece of anacharis floating in the tank which I moved to give the eggs at least some protection.

I have two options, and would like to know which would be best:

-leave the eggs alone; my only concern with this would be any of the fish eating the fry

-move the eggs into a breeder net hanging in my 29g; currently contains 1 platy and 3 molly fry

Also generally how long before the eggs hatch?

Hi,
I'm not too sure what eggs they belonged to.
But my Albino cories just laid eggs, little white round eggs on the glass. My best advice to you is to remove them from the community tank, as platies seem to like them.
Good luck!

they sound like cory eggs, and pandas do breed easily compared to other cory types.
i would either romove the eggs to separate tank, and leave it in the dark, or place them in a fry net, how big are the fry??

should hatch within a couple of days if they are fertile. eggs can be produced by female if they is no male, just want be fertile.

Thank you for the replies.

All but one of the eggs were gone this morning. I don't know if they were eaten or hatched. This is my Endler's breeding tank so there are lots of fish and fry :%)

I did manage to move the last egg to the fry net. I'll give it until tomorrow to see if it hatches or not.
