Snakeskins hit 9" and are too big for you. Pictus are also big and potentially schooling. Ice the gourami and the pictus, get a 2nd krib schools of cories and some kind of barb or tetra. |

They simply tolerate being kept together. But they do, however, become too large and active for 20 gallon. At 5" long, yours is full grown and needs at least a 40 gallon long tank. The snakeskin gourami also has to go. They get way too large for a 20 gallon, and yours isn't even full grown yet. I'm surprised your gourami hasn't jumped out of the tank or injured itself from their infamous panic attacks. I recommend getting a female krib for your male to make a breeding pair. Then for a little activity, you could add a school of small surface-dwelling fish such as some rare danios or hatchetfish. Breeding kribs generally will not bother these fish because they live so close to the surface (whereas the cichlids pretty much only live on the bottom). ![]() I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |
