i need some goldfish breeding tips!also i need some goldfish fry care FAST before the eggs hatch!!! here r some questions about it.

1.wat do goldfish eggs look like?
2.wat will the fry look like?
3.what will they eat?
4.what is the ideal temp for the baby goldfish?
5.how much goldfish eggs can a female goldfish realese?
6.got any pics of goldfish fry or goldfish eggs?
7.Any good goldfish websites???

- Don't be surprised if those eggs disappear before they get a chance to hatch. If you see something that looks nice and round and egg-like, it probably is. Has one or more of your goldies been on the recieving end of headbuts and nudging by another? If so, they have been breeding. You can tell the male by bumps on his gill plate called tubercles. This really tells you he is in breeding condition.

If they have spawned in something that you can remove, like Java Moss, or a spawning mop, a rock or something else, you can transfer it to a smaller tank. Goldies will eat their young before you can blink.

Good luck and don't fret it you can't deal with them now. I use to get all upset looking at babies hatching in a violent setting (being eaten or sucked into a filter). However, I have learned that if I just leave the eggs, mom and dad will snack on them before they hatch. Goldies do take I think it was 4-7 days, depending on temp.

It is fun, however to make a setup and steal some of the eggs out from under them and raise them. Read on in that link I provided if you choose to go this route.
