What would it help me to know how to create the perfect water conditions for a particular fish if I don’t know who would be compatible, what to feed, if I can add plants, and, well, you get the point. But, if you force me to choose, I pick water conditions. I would be curious to find out all the bad things I have done to my water in the past (and I am sure in the future as well). Ingo |

I find that I am always seeking to find more and more knowledge...I don't know how many books I'm up to now, but I keep finding new ones with new information on different areas, and unbelievably I end up taking them to bed or wherever I am planning on reading... I guess that is the one part about this hobby that I really enjoy is all the information there is out there that I have yet to even encounter ![]() heidi "I've got a great ambition to die of exhaustion rather than boredom." After suffering a few losses due to poor water quality its of upmost importance to keep it clean. As was said before, good clean healthy water will keep just about anything you put in it. |
davetherave![]() Hobbyist Posts: 112 Kudos: 82 Votes: 1 Registered: 12-May-2004 ![]() | i luv my L numbers To own pairs, know their dealings, how to breed them and save them being caught in the wild Sorry guys, but i am a bit of a conservationlist, these are expensive fish because most are wild caught - especially those received in the UK. I only buy them to give them a good home and cannot fit anymore in my tanks!!! They are beauties Best regards Dave |

And if you keep the water well, it'll keep almost anything that you can throw at it ![]() |
