ok i would liek to get killies or rainbows or both if they are a good mix bc i am looking for a new type of fish to breed
1. tank size and how many in a 6-10gallon tank
2.caring for the species do they need naything special?
3. are they prolific breeders and how do u breed them?
4.what is their availibility in the northeastern united states? vt/ny/nh area or would i be better off getting them on aqua bid?
5. prices
6. BREED reccomendations

only rainbow=what i know

1) i would start getting a 20, but if you want a 10, you may be only able to hold a few rainbows.

2) i just started rainbows this year, and i have found that they are very easy to keep, nothing really. just taht a boes, will need a large tank, as well as the larger types, like the red.

3) haven't breed mines, but i hear that you should add a breeding mop into the tank and let them breeding in there, or java moss.

4)i am by you, i am in NY. at lfs by me there are alot of rainbows around, but many are on the expensive side, but i go to a whole sale and the prices are really low.
at the lfs you wont find anything really good, so aquabid might be a better opition.

5)most rainbows are between 3-15 usd.

6) i like the Madagascar Rainbowfish,Red Rainbowfish, Lake Wanam Rainbowfish,Threadfin Rainbowfish } might be the type you want for a smaller tank.
