if u got the new mag, of drsfostersmith there are killi, magnifcus and Rachovi for 50.oo a pair. i thought killis weren't so much money.

It really depends on the availability, the particular species rarity, both in the hobby and in the wild and sometime the difficulty of keeping and successfully breeding certain species.

yeah, it really is a ripoff. you can get them much cheaper from someone in the hobby. or someone mainly selling killifishes.

s.magnificus and n.rachovii, you can get for $10-$20 a pr. even less sometimes. those aren't really rare in the hobby.
although i have seen a few rare killis go for $50-100 a pr... but you'll probably never find them on those kind of sites nor in the fish stores.
