xzoticfairy Small Fry Posts: 1 Kudos: 1 Votes: 0 Registered: 25-Apr-2005	ok this may sound dumb but i didnt no where else to ask. i used to have gold fish along time ago but i hadn't had any fish until recently. i finally got into fish again and i fell in love with black mollies. i bought 1 like about a month ago. and i just bought 2 more yesterday. i am pretty sure i have 2 females and one male. i was wondering what it looked liked when they mated? the boy and the girl where going around each other and chaseing each other but then they stop. is that what they do?

The female will get very large, with a rounded stomach. Just give them some time & you'll soon see some tiny fry. So if he's chasing her around and trying to "poke" the female with his gonopodium, they're probably mating and getting ready to make little eedy beedy feeshies! I've got a fever... and the only prescription... is more cowbell!
