fishes that hides.....end of answer....

I do like all fish which are natural but these man made deformed hybrids like parrot cichlids,bubble eyes etc
just make me feel sad for the poor fish.

any cichlid, save for the discus.

I love cichlids, but in the wrong setup, they can be hideous! In a dentists office, for example. It looked to be a 75 gallon cichlid tank, and it had huge, tacky blue and purple rocks with huge violet gravel. It must've had two oscars, and four or five big other kinds of cichlids.

So! I really don't hate oscars, I just hate bad dentist office aquariums.

I also hate albino fish. They're usually overbred and very weak, I always see two or three dead albinos when they're kept together at petstores. The exception to this would probably be albino socofis. I -think- thats the right name for them. Either way, a small albino cichlid

Why Cichlid freaks think they are so amazing is beyond me..

I think almost all types of goldfish are ugly. Common plecos are too but how can you call something like my gold nugget ugly? He probably has the most color in my tank and I can't wait till he gets a full 8"
I don't like hybrids or albinos. Partially because the albino gene is almost always a weak unnatural gene in animals. I don't really like danios either. They are hyper and active but overall boring and stress out all the other fish. Never have and probably never will see the excitement in barbs. I don't really have a reason for disliking them but I never want to keep them.

Carrasius arratus.

One thing that I do dislike is bad species mixtures. Tiger Barbs with a male Betta. Neons sharing a home with a pair of Dempseys getting ready to spawn. Cool water lovers such as Pseudogastromyzon hillstream loaches mixed in with sauna lovers such as Venezuelan Rams. Acidophiles such as Cardinals mixed with Sailfin Mollies that prefer hard, alkaline water (or in the case of velifera mollies, brackish water!).

The number of times I'm left shaking my head because some people don't do their homework ...

I would have to agree with Miss Moppet. I don't like to see any fish altered by dyeing or intentionally bred with deformities that causes them suffering. I don't care for albino fish somewhat for that reason and also because they just look kind of sickly. I guess it is because when fish die they lose their color, and so an albino fish looks kind of dead to me.

Hybrids and anything dyed, I also have a strong dislike for some of the more deformed goldfish....bubble eyes, celestial eyes, etc. Anything that is deformed and suffers a poor quality of life because of it. Come on, there are tons of beautiful, natural fish out there. Why create deformed abominations?

It's not so much that I hate the fish themselves, it's more the people that create them in my opinion.

I've always thought of guppies as feeder fish and never understood why anyone would want to keep them
But each to their own, I personally think that cichlids are the smartest and most friendly of the FW and that catties are beautiful in their own special way

I can't really say I hate them, but I don't really care for any tetras or barbs. only good use, imo, for tiger barbs is to get chased around by cichlids.

I guess the only thing I don't really like is a black skirt tetras. I only dislike them, because I've had them kill way too many other fish I've been keeping...just me, maybe a black skirt tetra tank might be interesting...Heidi

I don't hate them so much but I really don't like them, especially in my own tanks... angelfish. My mom loves them, so she insisted that she be able to get a couple for our 60-gallon tank. One has died already. Wimpy little fish.

I'd be hard pressed to think of one. There are lots of fish that I'm not interested in right now (although that can and probably will change; after all, once upon a time I probably wouldn't have been interested in shelldwellers!) but "hate" is a pretty strong word. What'd any fish ever do to me?

NONE! All fish, in their own way, are very interesting, and cool. There are fish that I may not care for, but as for "hating" them? There are none.

Well I think Plecos are incredibly ugly and creepy. Never had one never will.

Flowerhorns I can't stand either. Thankfully that particular craze is dying out here in Asia (only to be replaced by the Arrowana craze which is resulting in a lot of beautiful 1-2' fish been kept in 30gal tanks]:|)
