Ignore it (it's basically, what I've chosen to do) 2. Move the gravel back to cover the holes (I was doing this, but I found filling the holes each and every day became more of pain...) 3. Rearrange the tank and wait for them to start movinggravel again (because let's face it, they will do it again soon:%)) I compare it to humans using sidewalks...we do use them, but if there is a shorter distance between the two we tend to use it so the cichlids do the same, hey look there's not a cave here, and we want one here, ok folks lets start moving the gravel:%)heidi ![]() Last edited by heidi at 02-Apr-2005 08:29[/font] "I've got a great ambition to die of exhaustion rather than boredom." Mostly what they do in my tank is make caves around the openings to the ones already there. You'll get used to it. And you'll start to laugh at how quickly they put these new "caves" back after you gravel vac. Just one of the many reasons why cihclids can be so amusing. :88) |

The gravel is never the same. ![]() http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.deathbydyeing.org/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |
