I need some advice again! My peppered cories have been laying a lot of eggs lately - 14 in the tank currently. I have one baby that is a few weeks old and already about 3/4 of an inch long. I noticed on Monday that there was at least one more fry in the tank. I had to move the tank at the begining of the month and I am almost ready to put it back.

My question is how do I go about moving it without losing the babies? I know that the new eggs will hatch before I have a chance to get the tank moved.

Thanks for you help! You are all great!

How far do you need to move the tank? If it is only to another part of the room or the house, you should be able to move the tank with the fry in it. If the tank is going into another building, it would be worth removing the eggs before they hatch and putting them into a small tank or container (heated and with an airstone) where they can sit out the move.

And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

Remember that you shouldn't move any tanks with water in it, as it's quite risky. It's better to remove the eggs & do as Sirbooks said.

I will be putting the tank back in the basement, it's on the main level now. I won't be able to do this until next week as we are still remodeling. I'm still new to the idea of breeding. My cories didn't start this until I moved the tank!

Thanks for your help!
