i've had a 55gal for about 1 year now and this is what is what is currently in it.
1 rainbow shark
1 albino cory
1 zebra danio
5 black skirted tetras
1 male phantom tetra
and that is it. i know i need more corys zebras and phantoms but i was thinking of maybe something that is active yet wont be picked on by the rainbow shark. he chases everything except for the cory which he seems to be friends with.

you should make up a school of 6-8 corys, tetras and danios, one at a time so that you dont olverload the filter.
this will make the fish in question happier and also dissipat the aggression from the rtbs between a greater number of fish so no indiovidual fish is being continuously harrassed. also make sure the rtbs has a choice of hiding places to call his own.

Do the corys have to be albino or will diferent types be fine because it is kind of hard to find albino corys where i live but i really like them.

The albinos or the normal Bronze Corys will be fine; they are both the same species.

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

Yeah load up on the albino corys. I think it always looks good to have them in larger groups and they show up so well. I would stick with one kind because they look better imo.

Up with the Danios, Tetra's & Corydoras & you can add some Bronze or Albino Corydoras to your lonely one.

this tank has a little problem with algae and i would like to put in something small to take care of this. i know that common plecos get to big gut is there any type that won't outgrow the tank?

A bushynose would be good for that tank either albino or normal would do, any other species of plecos really dont eat algae my 3 albinos dont even touch the stuff. i Say go with ottos they will eliminate most kinds of alage, but not all.

lk so i moved the danio to another tank along with the phantom so after i increase the albino corys and add about 2 blk skirts will there be room later for 2-3 angels? i am always cautios about overstocking because of when i first started with my 29 gal. and i've decided against an algae eater an i'll just be more active in scraping the tank clean. just wondering

i think it would fit i would suggest get 3 let 2 pair off return the other, other than that it seems fine, scrapping the algae is good as well, make sure u use something soft when cleaning it, personally the ottos and the bn do a good enough job theres barely ever any algae on my glass, just the green spotty alage.
