well, as some of you know, last week i was blessed with finding 7 adorable little fry, probly no more than 1 day old, some, wernt even free swimming yet.

after the first few days i noticed 3 were incredibly weak, always sitting on the bottom of the 1 gallon, i assumed they wouldent make it, but i gave them a chance. a few days later they were dead.

i transfered the 4 very healthy, but still incredibly small to another 1 gallon that was filled with the contents of a clean filter, it was teaming with live foods, and after i dumped the contents in, and added some new water and some cycle (or something similiar)i let it sit for a bit, so the water could become safe, i transfered them safely into the tank, shortly after.

all 4 fry were doing great, but soon 1 dissapeared, it most likely died, but they were so small, i couldent tell.

i now have 3 fry, they are getting big already one fry is still small, and the 2 others are twice its size! im feeding de-shelled brine shrimp eggs, and i assume they are eating the worms that have infested the tank, they are due for a water change too.

the possible parents of them are either my zebra danios, or my threadfin rainbows, i cant wait untill i can tell! i will keep you posted!

If you basically leave them alone minium care they should develop very quickly.

You have to be patient & let them grow slowly. Just keep feeding them live food & try to put the small fry on it's own, so it will gain weight & size, as it will have no competitors for food.

sence i have to add enough food for the worms as well, they all get plenty of food, i only have to feed them every few hours, thats when they have eaten most of the food, i feed a bit more, when i only see about 10 eggs left, i think i see stripes today so im guessing on a zebra danio

what do you guys think? shall we wager? lol ok, so theres no prize other than u get to boast

I vote danios. That's what my babies look like.
It's fun to watch them grow.
