fishyhelper288![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Fish Guru Posts: 2161 Kudos: 1951 Votes: 137 Registered: 29-Feb-2004 | well, as some of you know, last week i was blessed with finding 7 adorable little fry, probly no more than 1 day old, some, wernt even free swimming yet. after the first few days i noticed 3 were incredibly weak, always sitting on the bottom of the 1 gallon, i assumed they wouldent make it, but i gave them a chance. a few days later they were dead. i transfered the 4 very healthy, but still incredibly small to another 1 gallon that was filled with the contents of a clean filter, it was teaming with live foods, and after i dumped the contents in, and added some new water and some cycle (or something similiar)i let it sit for a bit, so the water could become safe, i transfered them safely into the tank, shortly after. all 4 fry were doing great, but soon 1 dissapeared, it most likely died, but they were so small, i couldent tell. i now have 3 fry, they are getting big already one fry is still small, and the 2 others are twice its size! im feeding de-shelled brine shrimp eggs, and i assume they are eating the worms that have infested the tank, they are due for a water change too. the possible parents of them are either my zebra danios, or my threadfin rainbows, i cant wait untill i can tell! i will keep you posted! |
