i have a 8 inch green sevrum and a 6 inch rotkeil sevrum
and there breeding, i know that there not the same species of sevrum but there doin IT anyways

they have doen this about 6 to 8 times but i still cant get them to hatch there eggs

my ph is about 7.5
and everything else is the way its supose to be

anyone know how i can make these eggs hatch?
or if i even can make them hatch?

ive breed electric yellows b4, but that was simple compared to this.

thx hope i get somekinda help

Makes me wonder (not that I know severums) that maybe you have 2 females who are leaving eggs everywhere...thus no male means that no fertilized eggs, and no fertilized eggs means, no fry...I know, I know that is simply put, but that is all I can think ofLeslie is having a similar problem with another breed of fish, all they do is drop eggs everywhere:%)

im pretty sure that there male and female
ill try to get some pics but my green sevrum is the female and the rotkeil is the male

how long should it take to hatch?
they eat the bad(white) eggs maby they just dont have patients,

i do have other fish in there too but they keep there distance,

is there anything i can try to make the eggs hatch?

tank temp? mines at 80 to 81 degrees

leave the light on, I have found that this works well for a new pair of breeders, I keep the light on from the time the eggs are layed until the babies a free swimming, a lot of the time with other fish in the tank the parents will eat their own eggs instead of letting on of the other fish in the tank get them when the light goes out

Yes, leave a bit of light on, so that they see the eggs & fry at night. This way, they will not eat them.
