My 30g is home to a mystery cichlid, who is becoming too large and agressive for the tank. He attacks or kills any tankmates other than my cories and BN, and I don't want to take a chance on them being next. So he will be sold or taken back to the lfs that mislabelled him in the first place.

Now I need ideas. The tank has gravel which I don't want to change. It is also unplanted thanks to this fish. Other tanks/stock I currently have:

-community with keyholes, platies, loaches, BN

-Endler's tank with pygmy cories and otos

-paludarium with fiddler crabs, BBGs, and glass fish

-guppy fry grow out tank with dwarf puffer (yes, that's a very odd combo)

-Asian biotope with honey and sparkling gouramis, rasboras, barbs, kuhlis

-peaceful cichlid tank (acara, angels, sev, etc), giant danios, plec

-I also have a small tank I plan to keep killies in

I'm really lost on ideas. The gravel is black, so I'd like something that will show up with that. There are 5 trilneatus cories, 1 panda, and a BN that will stay. And I would like to eventually plant the tank.

Anything different from what I have?

I would get some of the Endler's Livebearers Theresa. I was finally able to find some and am totally in love with them...I can just imagine how beautfiful a 30 gallon would look with them all swimming around...and I'd definately add some Hasbrosus to the tank...it would look simply lovely Just my thoughts, heidi

Well, I already breed Endler's in another tank. Tetras are a thought, I currently don't have any.

I wouldn't mind having tangs but aren't their pH requirements higher than my cories & BN can live in?

I would make a species tank of some sort. That is my next project. I would like to make a species tank using my favorite fish.
