Do you have any other stock in the 35? And do you know what type of pleco you have? Some get very large.

Hocky Stick Tetra (aka Penguin Tetra)

I think you should stick to 1 school of Tetras. Pick which you like the best and take the others back. Bring up the remaining school of Tetras to about 10 (they need at LEAST 6 to be happy)

Like said above, the Pleco may need to go back depending on what type. A good pleco for a 35 would be a bristle nose pleco or a clown pleco as both stay about 4 inches in length max.

When you fix your Tetra school, you could add a Pair of Blue Rams and a small school of 6 cory's to the bottom.

Tetra's need to stay in a school of at least 6 & what type of Pleco do you have?. If it's a common one, they'll grow quite big.

u should be fine depending on how large ur pleco is. if its small id get 1 or 2 more serpaes, or they could get nippy towards the other tetras.
