I have a 10g tank and I have a black molly, a silver lyretail molly, a pleco, and a fishie that eats stuff on the bottom(some latin name i cannot remember or find again.)
Anyway i wonder if:
(1) That is a good mix
(2) What, if any, other fishies would people suggest.
Thanks all......

Could you provide a pic of the bottom fish?

& i dont think you could putr much else in that tank, 2 mollies is pretty fully stoked imo.

Some plecos get huge and a 10 gallon tank may not be big enough for them. As for the fishie that eats from the bottom, you'll have to post a photo or give alot more information before we can help you.

Is the bottom feeder otocinclus or corydoras?

Also, chances are the pleco will outgrow your tank(especially if labled "common" ). Also, mollies grow very large and can be prolific, so id also move them.

For a peaceful 10 gallon Id do:

A trio (1 male/2females or 3 males) of platys or guppies
A dwarf gourami
3 otocinclus or 6 small corydoras(pandas, daintys, etc)

-Or-

6 small tetras
3 otocinclus or 6 small corydoras(pandas, daintys, etc)

-or-
1 male betta

-or-

trio of female bettas

if that pleco is a common one ...it just get too big...u may want to give it back to ur lfs and get store credit for other fish...and u got molly in there...u add salt in ur tank eh?? i think since u got ur mollies in there....that would be enuf number of fish...molies get big as well, more than 3 in. (actually, even a 10g is small for mollies).

The Pleco will get too big for your tank & if the bottom feeder is a Corydoras, they need to stay in schools & a minimum of 6 fish is needed.
