Some fish don't seem to have any problem adjusting at all, and then others can take longer. Sometimes three or four days, or longer. |

Using the above there is no "Normal time" Some will settle in straight away and others never. Just wanted to add that some fish can even take weeks to get completely comfortable in new surroundings. oscars, for example, are very hardy and can adapt to many different conditions but they are also very grumpy and may "sulk" and refuse to eat for 1-2 weeks after being placed in a new tank. ![]() |

Just wanted to add that some fish can even take weeks to get completely comfortable in new surroundings. oscars, for example, are very hardy and can adapt to many different conditions but they are also very grumpy and may "sulk" and refuse to eat for 1-2 weeks after being placed in a new tank.
