However, if your rainbows were much bigger than the minnow, I'm not surprised that they picked on it. It's a fish-eat-fish world out there, you know. Once the minnow had been weakened, the ram just saw it as food, not a tankmate. Minnows tend to not do well in tropical tanks anyways, as they are cool/coldwater fish. |
