I always train the ones at work to jump from the water and take food from my fingers; they are very intelligent fish and learn to recognize their owner quickly. They are pretty easy to take care of... They like moderately hard water with a pH of about 7.3-7.8, which is just plain tapwater for most people. For feeding, they aren't picky but they definitely prefer live and frozen foods to processed. They can be a bit territorial, but if the tank is large enough it shouldn't be a problem. Also, they will eat small fish, so don't add a school of cardinal tetras to the tank and expect them to last. ![]() I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |
