| penguin mini or ac20 for a 10g tank? | |

There both good filters, and I don't think you can go wrong with either. |

The ac model does offer more flexibility with your media, the penguin comes with a cartridge which you just replace. my penguin does have a bio wheel. Actually, it took a while to choose between the two, I opted for the bio wheel, but often wished I'd chosen the other. |

The filter media is very inexpensive so I can change it very often and not worry about spending alot of money on cartridges. I like that the flow is adjustable because it makes it so much easier to feed my fish and keeps the food on top of the water. I don't have any experience with the penguin filter. I did consider it when buying a new filter for my 10 but I chose the AC. In my opinion it is great. ![]() |
