| plastic floating vs. net breeding devices | |
tankie![]() Fish Addict Posts: 857 Kudos: 848 Votes: 230 Registered: 15-Mar-2005 ![]() | hello....im just wondering whats gud for the fry. i dont have the luxury of space for another fry tank...and so, ive decided to get one of those small breeding devices that u can just add in an existing tank. will someone tell me their experiences with any of these..the floating plastic 2-way breeder (Lee's)and the net breeding one??? thank you |

Never had a lot of luck with the plastic ones. Throw in a bit of floating plants for the fry to hide in. |
tankie![]() Fish Addict Posts: 857 Kudos: 848 Votes: 230 Registered: 15-Mar-2005 ![]() | ok..thx...ive tried the plastic ones at 1st...didt like it...it just keeps of floating from side to side...and..the place is so small for my platy...after aweek of trying...i decided have it exchanged with the net one... now, the platy is in the net..it has bigger space and i managed to anchor it to the hood....ive also thrown in some plants just in case...now im just waiting... ![]() |
