I am not sure about the 70 gallon. (I don't really now the stocking levels for a 70 gallon) But the 15 might be a bit overstocked with the rams, as they are pretty aggressive.

Have the cherry barbs been together for a long time?

Do they swim in a shoal or in pairs?

the cherry barbs have only been in there a few days so im keeping a close eye on them, im now thinking of going with the same idea but leaving out the rams, i may eventually change something in the 70g to make room for them in there.
if i go with whats suggested at the moment is there any prefered order to add the different fish?

The rams would be pushing it for the 15 gallon, not sure if they culd go in the 70 gallon. Your tank needs to be cycled before you add the fish. The 70 gallon you can use both schools of danios and the 15 gallon you can use either pure ammonia or the cherry barbs. After the tnak is cycled this is teh order the fish should go in:

70 gallon

Zebra danio 6-used for cycling No.1
Gold danio 6-used for cylcling No.1
Cherry barb 3-No.2
Peppered cory 6-No.3
Denilson barb 4-No.4
Red rainbowfish 5-No.5
Bristlnose cats 2-No.6
Angel fish 2-No.7
If blue rams then they come last.

15 gallon

2 cherry barbs-used for cycling No.1
Glowlight tetra 8-No 2.
Betta (male) 1 No.3

No.=number by the way!

Good Luck!

the 70g is cycled with the danios and cories already in, but still wont be making any additions for a few weeks unless i need to seperate the cherry barbs.
not sure if i can even get hold of red rainbowfish but will look more when the time comes.
thanks for the advise.
