This little guy/girl is ~1.5" long, seems rather peaceful, and I was told by the lfs it's a brackish puffer. It was labelled a green spotted puffer but I'm not sure that's correct. Any ideas?

It looks very similar to my colomesus asellus, which is a fresh water puffer. Try looking up that name and match the picture to your fish. the picture is a bit dark, so it is hard for me to tell.

That's exactally what it is & it is a FW fish that will need it's teeth trimmed every 4-6 months too.
