i have a pair of spotted green puffers and a pair of flounder... can they both be in the same tank?

also in my puffer tank can i use sand instead of gravel? or do puffers dont really have a preference?

In terms of the flounders, they definitely prefer sand as a substrate, the puffers are ok with that, however, I would definitely not recommend keeping the two in the same tank. The very large appetite of the puffers makes feeding the flounder difficult. I would recommend two different tanks for them.

Thanks for the link it was very informational! Guess my two puffers will get to keep the tank to themselves afterall
