Like, if you had a 5 gallon tank, yea, that this is gonna shock you pretty bad, but if you have a 1000 gallon tank, when you put your hand in the water, you would just feel little "tingles" I guess i can vouch for that, since i got shocked when i was little by sticking a knife in the outlet. |

I've never really thought about taking the extra step and unplugging it from the wall outlet. Though I guess it would be a good idea to start. |

I saw racso pop a heater once while reaquascaping, and that was enough convincing for me ![]() When I'm cleaning the betta tanks, I unplug the filters so I can carry the tanks to the laundry room and go to work. |
