i was just wondering if ramshorns need a partner in order to reproduce.

i currently have two in a small tank that i am planning to take down, but i don't want to introduce them into any of my other tanks if they are going to multiply! (they're currently laying eggs in the little tank, but none have hatched...) if kept singly, will they stop laying?

thanks, i guess i'll have to find them a new home then, because i definitely don't want to deal with snails in my planted tank, and i have not other spot to put them. too bad, they're so pretty
