i suggest you don't get the silver dollars.. they get 6" long and tall and are very.. very skittish.

Get more tiger barbs

Thanks..i think i will add some more tiger barbs then
One more question...My son is really sad..he absolutely wants to have a shark in the 74g tank.
So i just wanted to know..is it possible to have 1 redtail shark or 1 rainbow shark with the tiger barbs, pleco, hoplo catfish and a elephantnose?

Uh, yeah, your bottom feeder density is pretty up there, and considering the inherent territorial nature of the fish in question...well, I wouldn't do it.

I agree. Elephantnoses are pretty territorial as well. There is a chance that both the 'nose and the shark will ignore each other in a 70 gal tank, but I wouldn't bet on it. So ideally, you can have one or the other, not both.
