hey..i jz came back from the LFS to get 2 more clown loaches...but what i saw was the most shocking thing i ever saw...a 5 inch silver arowana being eaten alive by a red tail catfish and 2 oscars...very saddening...stupid LFS ppl there..dont know how to keep fishes properly

thats not always true, and you shouldn't be so quick to say that they all dont know anything. sometimes however, its not there falut, fishes sometimes come in and they dont have room, or the conditions for them. which i am guessing the red tailed cat is.

i see some LFS (mostly LPS) putting several RTBS in the same 10g all the time (and by the end of the week, only a few are left). Incompatible fishes are kept together all the time (and several RTBS will not work well together in a 10g)

I'd still be interested to know if you alerted the staff to what was going on...I noticed once that two betta boys ended up in the same tank, for whatever reason and as soon as I alerted the owner she fixed the problem...even if you don't think they will do something they do have the right to know what is happening in the tank, be ashame for them to come back and go, "uh there was an arawana in here, wonder where it went." And sometimes we have to help them, I mean let's face it they are only human heidi

nah..i couldnt say anythg.when i saw it..the poor arowana couldnt even move but breathe..very terrible..cuz she is a fussy old lady..and stubborn.....plus....she doesnt understand english..something which is so sad here in malaysia..
