ok im finally cleaning out my 30 gallon already gotton rid of 30 fish (see i was way oversocked ) most were plattys and guppies, i plan on cleaning out much more too i am selling/giving away my rainbow shark if anyone can take him and im left with 3 corys, 10 plattys, 10 guppys, 3 zebra danios, 4 WCMM, and like 5 swords that arnt fully grown yet, i am getting a 100 gallon when i can get a ride to fetch it, so what can i get to put in the 30 that wont grow too fast and is compatible with smaller fish, and likes larger tanks like 100 gallons
i am going to get as many corys as i can (depending on the price) but i want a pair of somthing, i dont think im ready for rams but i would like something like them

Well...

Bolivian rams aren't really that hard to take care of. At all. A little trickier than a guppy, but I'm sure it's nothing you couldn't handle.

Have you thought about trying some sort of gourami? Or maybe a school of barbs, like the gold barb or belted barb?

Lots of cories sounds cool.

What are your plans for the 100 gallon? Or was it 125...

How about a pair (or trio) of snakeskin gouramis? They grow to 8" long in captivity, and are very peaceful, so they would make an excellent centerpiece fish for a 100 gallon.

They are one of the few large fish that can be safely kept with small fish such as young neons. In fact, it is very rare that they will eat fry of other fish.

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

If you really want to change to rams then why not. You have been on FP since Feb 04 so should have learned a lot and there are lots of people to ask.

If you are patient and have researched it well there shouldn't be a prob provided you have the right setup in place.
