OK I've had enough of it...

Leslie's silly White Clouds are always spawning lately...I mean really they spawn 1-2 times a week...and it's impossible...or heck insane, something...there are 4 females and 1 male (the male attempted courting some betta girls last falland lost his tail) but is not interested in the least to the females, so the eggs sit there and get fuzzy, then one of us pulls them out with the net and they do it again...it's about 1-2 tablespoons worth at a time...what can we do to stop them? is there anyway to convince them not to do this?

Someone help I've had enough, and Leslie is getting there fast...

I am not for sure on whiteclouds but as for my convics if i take out the taracota pot that they use to lay eggs in they stop breding and my green terrors if i take out the slate rock they stop.. fire mouths and blue acura are about the same .. if they just dig a pit then i am clueless on how to make them stop

White clouds just spawn constantly if they are happy and frequently if they aren't Mine just dumped a bunch of eggs behind a rock. They usually scatter their eggs around or just leave them in the middle of the tank so I don't know if removing something would help. You could always get another male or 2 so the eggs are fertile and hatch out fry or you could get a bottom dweller that would eat the eggs.

Obviously something is right with there environment, so they are happily doing what nature intends them to do. Probably not much you can do to stop them.

I think I will get some cories this weekend to try and eliminate the eggs. The habrosus I had weren't doing the job, so I transferred them to another tank and look for something larger.

Leslie is gonna have to do something, she wanted to show me the latest batch of eggs she dragged out of the tank this evening, and it made me sick to my stomach

And no removing something isn't gonna stop themI took the java moss they were using, and just to prove that that wouldn't stop them, she's had 2 more spawnings...

And also come to think of it, she didn't have this problem till I fishnapped the albinosbut she's not getting them backno way, no how

Well, they have done it again. I will have to fish more gunk from the tank. ]:| Might not wait until the weekend.

why r u worried about the spawings? i would be happy but why not get new albinos

well..ur tank is doing well then..i say..thats the least of ur worries....let other fish eat the eggs...if not...try to change the temp a bit

The applesnails cleaned up the eggs in my tank. They also hunt down pest snail eggs and control the population for me. Snails love fish eggs.

try getting another male.
