At home I have no computer access. But now I am at work I realise I don't know the tank measurments to plug into the site calculator for volume. I am an aussie so my Melafix container has instruction in litres. If an aussie couild tell me how many litres my tank holds that would be good. I was conservative last night with dosage just in case (I also have clown loaches in there). (but the little guy does seem a bit better this morning! swimming in the mid and upper regions. ) This is the situation: http://www.fishprofiles.com/files/forums/The%20Hospital/66240.html?200511151529 Thanks for your time ![]() Last edited by wish-ga at 15-Nov-2005 15:33 ~~~ My fish blow kisses at me all day long ~~~ |

I will keep putting 2 capfuls in the the tank. It is not full dosage but I have clown loaches in there. ~~~ My fish blow kisses at me all day long ~~~ |

Basically 5 ml to 25 litres, and 55 gallons is approx 200 litres. What is the temperature in your tank, may i also suggest adding 4 handfuls of rock salt. I have 20 clowns, and most often, rock salt takes care of the situation, only if I see it spreading, do I medicate the tank. Regards, Clowny |
