What about:
2 angelfish-you wanted them.
12-15 rummy nose or cardinal tetras-they look amazing in big schools.
8 corys (whatever type you like)-cute little bottom dwellers.
1 bristle nose catfish - for algae.
6-8 Harlequin rasboras or other largish tetras (not neons)-adds more colour.
Do you like that?

personally i would go with
2 angels (platinums are awsome)
6 rummys
6 cardinals
8 cories
1 bn for algea
with a heavily planted tank itll be awsome.

I dont really get algea & I might just get 10 rummies instead of carinals,& if my angels have fry i'll keep the fry in there 4 a little while.(then probably sell them)so probably no bn

Serpae tetras are way to nippy for Angelfish, they woud rip them to bits. They are still nippy even if you keep them in big groups. I would go with something more like lemon or bleeding heart or diamond. Or even cardinals. Peppermint catfish are fine they are nearly the same as bristle nose but not quite as hardy.

Tank Capacity:
Litres: 162
US Gallons: 42.8
UK Gallons: 35.64

suggetions?(I'm thinking of a pair of angels)

L-90cm
W-30cm
H-60cm

(I dont have this size tank but I have space so I'm just wondering if it'll be worth paying about 400 dollars 4 it.
I dont know if anyone makes this size tank but I'm just wondering

or the fact that angel become highly territorial when they are breeding, so they might attack another fish in the tank. If you go livebearers (you almost had the spelling) don't plan on keeping the fry as the angels would love this delicious little treatNot that I am one to not keep guppies If you are set on the Angels then get them. I don't know for sure what I am set on, except I have to say you have to get a nice school of corry cats...I'm going with abt 10 spotted corry cats myself. Heidi

Alternatively, you could make it an angel species tank, and have fewer problems when the angels get around to spawning

i usually suggest for people to pick out one or two types of fish they really want to have, then build a community around them. so, if angels are your priority, you could consider a large group of cardinals (or other largeish tetra), a few dwarf cichlids (ie: bolivian or blue or gold rams), and a group of cory catfish. it's pretty typical, but nothing beats an authentic amazonian setup!
