As I posted in another thread about angels and gouramis. But I was wondering what else would be good tank mates with them? I am stocking a 55g. I was thinking maybe 3 angels, 2 gouramis, algie eater and was trying to find one other species that would get along with these. anybody have any suggestions?

I'd stick with just those, as they will grow larger than you would expect in a 55, and the room will be nice...

You might have to get rid of one of the angels. If you end up with a pair, they may pick on the odd angel.

if u want..... a small schooling fish just like one of us mentioned will do very nice in ur 55g... i prefer the tight shoal of rummynose (very sensitve though). other preferences are harlis and cardinals. but, put the angels to another tank. u need bottom dwellers...panda's one of my fave.

You can get a school of Corydoras, as bottom feeders & a BN for Algae cleaning.
