Looking thro e-bay and saw this....anyone kno anything about it? Looks like a neat idea, would it be stressful on the fish?

What did you see on ebay? You did not supply a link, and there is a lot of things for sale on ebay. Please be a little bit more specific and describe what you saw or provide a link. Otherwise there is no way to advice you.

I actually have no idea how they would effect the fish, but it would be interesting to find out. Does anyone else know? They look kind of cool, and I do sometimes enjoy having a little light on in the fish tank at night.

These do very well with all fish, as long as they are the correct nanometers as the moonlight. They do not list the nanometers on the add, so I cannot tell if they are. But, with the correct moonlights, they will not harm your fish, and the fish will be just fine with them. In breeding tanks, they are good, as they allow some light for the parents to protect their eggs/young from other night time preditory fish.

Actually there are several companies that make and sell these. But, for the price, I suggest those on ebay, or aquabid. They are much more expensive from the big companies. I have several friends of mine using them on both SW and FW, and almost all got them from those being sold on ebay or aquabid.
