What happens if you put a paradise fish in with 6 tiger barbs?

If it's a less agressive paradise fish the barbs destroy it's fins at the least and possibly kill it.

If it's a more agressive paradise fish the tiger barbs attempt to remove it's fins and then the paradise slaughters at least one of them.

There's a low chance that you have calmer barbs in a large enough group and a large enough tank that they won't really go after the paradise fish, but considering the tiger barbs well known reputation as a fin nipper along with the slow swimming habits and long fins of the paradise fish I think it's a good recipe for some injured fish.

Yeah, I don't know if they'd mix so well. As posted above, more tiger barbs and greater tank space would raise the chance that they could coexist with the paradise fish. Don't bet on it though.

Corydoras are often left alone by fin munching middle dwellers because they tend to be unobtrusive. They also don't really present wide-open targets, because cories usually can't be attacked from underneath and tend to like sitting in or under a form of cover.

just a note: i wouldn't say t-barbs for tiger barbs, as there are T-barbs or also known as spanner barbs. these can get bigger than tiger barbs.

tiger barbs would probably eat the fins off of most labyrith fish. like stated above, not such a good idea.
