What kind of tank cleaner ( mainly algea ) could i put in witha south american cichlids?

In addition, the name (or at least a description) of the algae is helpful as well as the location where it grows (plants, glass, tubing, etc.)

I would suggest taking a look at the setup (light, position, cleaning regimen, feeding regimen etc) before adding anything in the way of stock or additives. A little algae is normal and can be kept under control with a kitchen scrubber kept for that purpose alone. Cleaning by hand will do a better job than getting a fish to do it. But if you have lots of algae then it is due to the other variables mentioned above.
