is this good. a tank that in the center is free , and the sides full of plants. a tank of red, and boeseman rainbows.

What size tank?

They do like some swimming space, but you could also put some plants in the rear of the tank in the center, so they'd have another little refuge, but still have the space.

They like larger leaved plants, as they tear the crap outta the finer leaved ones, and it just creates a mess.

The plants in the tank I found the fish are happier when all the plants are at the back and there are a few openings in the plants for the rainbows to hide.
