i have an eclipes 6 and i think it is leaking. if it is the hole, must be very small b/c of the past few days the the water level fell only and inch. the water on the table seems to spread out everyday.

how do i fix this. drain the tank, move fish, remove everything, and then fill it in.

Make sure that it's a leak & not evaporation.

If it's a leak, empty tank from water, fish & everything & try to find where the leak is. Fix leak & leave the tank without water for a day & then start all over again.

As Jason said you'll have to remove everything and everybody if it is a leak...are you sure it isn't evaporation?it seems to be going around

if it is a leak empty tank of it's mates, put tank on top of newspaper, and add water...see if you can find where the newspaper is spotted before it spreads...

Use the tank silicone, or whatever one that is that is cheaper but safe for fishies...cover entire area that is leaking with a thin bit of it (1/4 inch should do it) and go furthur out than the hole/crack/etc. spread it thin with your finger, and I'd let it cure at least 2 days (48 hours) or more...

When it is cured, add water to it, and let it sit for a day on the newspaper again to see that the leak is totally gone...then you should be safe, be sure to add water and rinse it a couple of times before adding the fishies

good luck,
heidi

I guess it cannot be evaporation as you said water on table spreads more and more.
Is this tank made of plastic or glass?
