Well basically i am going to be moving some of my existing fish around to make room for new fish...i have 5 tanks that are gonna come into play here. Here are gonna be some of my new stocklists and am looking for input

75 Gallon:
3 clown loaches
3 silver dollars
8 tiger barbs
1 jack dempsey
2 common plecos (need to find a good home for the other one)
4 giant danios
2 gold gouramis (also trying to find a good home for)

29 Gallon:
1 Angelfish
2 Bolivian Rams
2 Banjo catfish
Paradish Fish (undecided if hes gonna stay)

10 Gallon #1:
5 panda corys
1 Female betta
1 rubbernose pleco
Live plants

10 Gallon #2:
Undecided on this one, it might end up being live planted cherry barb tank.

7 Gallon Bow Front:
3 Dwarf Puffers
2 Bumble Bee Gobies (maybe)
Live plants

Although these are not solid plans, they are most likely whats going to happen but i would appreciate any input you might have. The 29 seems a bit empty on the stocking so i might add some non bite sized angel snack tetras or maybe a trio of guppys. I doubt the fry would be a problem with mr. Angelfish running around.

75 Gallon:

No clown loaches, unless you are buying a bigger tank sooner on. They get big. Slowly, but eventually, they get really big. The pelcos do as well. I think the JD might be a tad agressive.

29 Gallon:

Parasise fish will kick the stuffing out of your angel. Not sure about banjos.

10 Gallon #1:

bump the cories up to 8 and drop the plec. I think they get too big for a 10.

10 Gallon #2:

Not much I can say since you don't have any specific fish, but cherry barbs sound nice.

7 Gallon Bow Front:

I think dwarf puffers might beat up the bb gobies.

Yes those are all valid points you made and yes i am aware of them all...i have future plans for all my larger fish. I'm looking for more of stocking ideas for my tanks rather then pointing out what is to agressive or to big. I actually have all these fish already but i am thinking of changing some around to make room for others. So please send stocking ideas this way

The clown loaches get too big for a 75 gallon, although they may stay temporarily. they silver dollars get big and school, so I wouldn't put them in less than a 6 foot. The tiger barbs might get killed by the JD if they are caught. The danios school, so get at least 2 more.

I would add a school of harly rasboras, or rummynose tetras, to the 29 gallon. They might fill it in a bit better. I wouldn't have the paradise in there. I've heard too many horror stories.

I agree with the other poster. I wouldn't put any pleco in a 10, unless it was alone. I'd also get more panda cories, cuz they're the best!

They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes,
They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver,
So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.

How much space _do_ clown loaches need, as a point of interest?

I have two very small ones in a 48 gal.

I would say 90 gallon minimum, 125 gallon is much better though. They are a really big fish! They are used as food fish in their native waters. That says a lot about their potential aize.

Shyte. :-P Well, I do hope to purchase a 120 gal sometime in the next 5 years, so hopefully the little critters will stay small enough until then :-)

When you say food fish, do u mean they get _eaten_ by others?

Azrael - Bigger than 120?! :-) How much bigger are you talking?

Janna - Ah. I see. Well, that's a wee bit sad, but I guess the folks of Borneo must eat :-)

Geesloper, you could say the same thing to me.

"You mean you eat BASS? Well I guess the folk of America must eat."

It's funny how locals opinion on an animal is so different than a visitor. My uncle would gladly kill a deer, if you gave him a gun. They're pests to him. But, when my brother and I go up there, we spend hours looking for them in the woods.

My friend's cousins were amazed when they saw squirrels by her house. These same people consider monkeys pests.

Well, true enough I guess. I understand some folks in eastern europe are rather fond of creatures we consider housepets, so it's all just a matter of opinion. :-)
