I need some advice on my tanks. I have the fans going regularly in my house due to the temps out side 100+ degrees. I have noticed, however, that my tanks drop to low 70s at night.
Since these are fishies and not mammals, my thought is to keep heaters in my tanks due to all my fish are tropical. That way the temp fluctuation is not too great. I am hoping to reduce the stress levels for my poor fishies as they are in a brand new uncycled tank...
I am doing regular checks on the chem levels and i am using ammo-lock and stress zyme.
If any one has any thoughts about this please let me know thanks.

Yes, leave the heaters on & once the temp. drops at night, they'll switch on. During the day when the temp. is high, they'll be off. I don't see any problems.

You can also add some anti-stress, when you do water changes.

Yep, leave the heaters in, and on. And also make sure they're high enough that it wont take too much of a drop for them to turn on. Check the tank temp first thing in the morning and make sure that it isn't more than just a few degrees lower than as high as the temp reaches in midday.
Also keep in mind the fact that because the tank is cycling there will be less oxygen in the tank as nitrItes start to build and you'll want to increase surface agitation even more than with just the raised temperature alone.
