mAd you don't say where you are... Australia? How hot is it getting, then how cold at night? What kind of fish are in the tank? Do you have a heater?

Some fish will survive temp swings better than others, but it depends on the type of fish and how wide the swing is. If you have a heater, you may be able to set the temp at the warmest temp your fish are comfortable in. This will reduce the swing, but may still stress the fish (depending on the type).

More info is needed before we can offer any real help.

The temp swings are likely the cause of the ich. I know it doesnt make much sense, but you need a heater even in summer. The reason is because of the swing down in the evening. IMO your tank shouldnt change more than 2 degrees in a 24 hour peroiod. So a heater for overnight to keeep the temp from falling too much.

Sorry bout your ich, make sure you're treating fully according to the directions...don't stop just because the spots "dissapeared"
