in my cray fish tank there are little "things" swimming around. there are these white ones about . size with two swimmer type things that makes a v shape. there are also these brownish-red ones that are thin and long and are the same size as the white ones. what are they and are they harmful?

The first, if they resemble this, are likely Cyclops or similar copepods (in which case the 'V'-shaped protuberances you describe are egg sacs). The second sound like nematodes of some sort - exactly how do they move?

At any rate, both sets of organisms are, in all likelihood, harmless.
