Hey everyone.

SO i cleaned my filter out today and it is running full strenght, but there is lots of little tiny bubbles floating around EVERYWHERE. What are these and how do i stop them?

Do you have bubbles attaching to the walls, the decorations, and even the fish?

If so, check everything to make sure that all the connections are tight and that nothing is cracked, especially the intake.

Have you added anything to the tank, like Pimafix or Melafix? Some of these will really make the water bubble.

Thats o2 that you are seeing. Its very good for your aquarium, did you do a water change also? Most of the time when sink water is used their are gasses in the linesand will not last long (nothing to worry about)

They are attaching to my live plants, but not too anything else......
I'll leave it for tonight , and see what it looks like then. I did do a small water change earlier in the day!

Hi,
What you are seeing is completely normal. It is called
"degassing" and the result of the release of pressure
from being in the water pipes. Also, many faucets have
small screens and aerators built into them to mix air
with the water as it comes out of the faucet. They cause
no harm, and will be gone within a day or two.
