I was originally thinking about just adding 3 guppies. But a local store is offering 5 fancy males for $4. And that's actually cheaper than if I were to buy just 3. Would 5 male Guppies be too much for my tank? |

There is room for any error at all. Be extremly carefull to what you add, look to the future when all the fish are fully grown. If you have any breeding fish in the tank this will add to the problems very quickly. With the live plants, I want to make sure I have enough Nitrates being produced. And with my routine maintance, I won't have a problem with too much. I pretty much knew that 5 would be pushing it space wise, but I figured I'd ask anyway. I already worked out what I'm going to do. I'll be buying the 5 male Guppies for $4. But I will only be keeping 3 of them, and my brother will take the other 2. |

Touch wood my Betta tank is running well.
